Our Story

The Art Book was founded 2020 with the vision to give EVERY type of artists from graphic designers and graffiti artists to sculptors and photographers a platform to show the world their talents. It's been our mission to give all artists, ones who are well established in the art world to upcoming young, hungry geniuses who don't have understanding to how to get their talents shown the same opportunity. 

We want to turn The Art Book into a global community for everyone who shares the passion. ART!

Art is one universal thing that in we can all have a personal connection with, we all view art in a different way and and everyones opinion is valid. The community we want to build is to bring artists from all walks of life from all over the globe together and give them platform to showcase their talents.

The artists are in charge of how they want to to set up. Whether you've created one masterpiece and want to find the perfect person to cherish it or you have a collection of masterpieces and you want them to be hanging in millions of peoples room across the world, we can help towards achieving these goals.

Finding Artists

Our Become An Artist! program is a a fantastic way you to build your way up in the art would and start getting the recognition you deserve. Outside of the program our team of specialists are on the look out 24/7 identifying talented artists around the world to join our family. Click on the image above and send over your application!

Assessment Process

After applying or being contacted by us, please send high quality images of your artwork to our email. Our team will review the images and determine which pieces are suitable. We will then communicate the next steps to you.

Contract & Legal

Upon successful application, we will schedule a meeting to discuss your artwork requirements and needs. We will cover all aspects of the contract, including quantities and publishing. Once we have finalized the finer details, we will provide you with a contract to sign, and then proceed to the publishing stage. Publishing

Once we have chosen your images and determined the optimal time for their public release, we will proceed with publishing them on the website and initiating our marketing and sales procedures. All artists will be granted a minimum 60-day period for their artworks to be featured on the store. Following that duration, we will analyse the analytics of each piece and collaborate with you to make an informed decision regarding the future steps.

The Art Book Printing & Delivery Process

Printing

Once an image has been purchased thats not an original we use a high quality, 8 colour Ink-Jet printer which allows our printing process to be precise, clean and every piece of artwork that we produce will have a museum quality finish to them.

Quality Checks

Our dedicated team that have over 30 years experience printing will carefully assess and analyse for any miss-prints and damages using our TAB Standard Authentication & Quality Check. With originals, prior communication with the artist will be required to find out what type of condition the art is in or defects.

Packaging

After the TAB Standard Authentication & Quality Check, we ensure the safety of any framed work, canvases, or 3D items by wrapping them meticulously in paper and bubble wrap. These items are then secured in double-walled packaging or the necessary boxes. Prints, on the other hand, are placed in the appropriate packaging envelope or art tubes.

Shipping & Delivery

Our objective is to ship and deliver the item(s) within a 3-5 business day timeframe, depending on the location. We rely on (UK delivery services) to deliver across the UK. If you are purchasing from overseas, international shipping companies will handle the delivery of your packages, which might result in a slightly longer delivery time. The cost of international shipping will be determined based on the destination. The shipping cost for all orders will vary based on the weight of the package.

Deep Edge Canvas 320 GSM

Photo Canvas is a finely woven inkjet canvas comprising a polyester-cotton mixed fabric. The bright white canvas has a matt inkjet coating which is optimised for photo application, producing a very good print quality. Photo Canvas ensures the best results in daily printing and is perfectly suited for photo and poster prints as well as stretcher-frame systems

Hahnemühle FineArt papers

Sustainable Photo Satin 220 GSM is a sustainable alternative to PE-based (Polyethene) inkjet photo papers. The newly developed bio inkjet coating is free of plastic composites/film and 100% recyclable via the wastepaper cycle. The bright white photo paper has a velvety smooth surface and is perfect for sustainable photo and poster printing 220 gsm, 100% α-cellulose, bright white, satin-finish.

Originals

Every artist has their own individual method for creating originals, and the artwork will be delivered to you exactly as it appears when we receive it. Once it has passed our TAB Standard Authentication & Quality Checks, The Art Book will package it appropriately. The artist determines the price prior to publication.

Premium Print and Floating Canvas Frames

We use premium frames to give your prints canvas an extra-special presentation.These “shadow” or “floating” frames leave a gap around the folded edges of your photo canvas, so the whole of your print remains visible. It’s a striking design that’s popular in modern art galleries.

Our customers' satisfaction is our number one priority.

Customers may request a full refund for unopened products or items with defects. However, we do not provide refunds for opened packages.

Customers are advised that they will be responsible for covering shipping expenses, unless they have access to a discount or free shipping code.

Any returns must be in the original packaging with proof of purchase.

When an order is placed, standard UK delivery typically takes 3-5 business days. However, please note that for original items, the delivery time may be longer as we need to receive the item from the artist first before packaging and securely sending it to you.

If your order hasn't arrived after two weeks, please contact us and we will look into the details.

When submitting your originals, we will communicate with you through your preferred method of contact to gather all necessary details about the artwork and determine the optimal solution for receiving it. We will cover the shipping expenses for all artwork that is sent from the UK, ensuring that the artwork is safely delivered to our warehouse.

We are able to offer custom sizing on all of our Prints and Canvases that are not originals above the size of A3 (29.7cm x 42cm).
